Caught a friend of mine at work. I couldn't do it hand held without the flash and I didn't want to make the flash too obvious, but because I'm not entirely sure how to best use the flash I ended up taking the picture at the following settings NIKON D200 F: 3.8 IS0 500 Shutter:1/100 sec Exposure bias: +0.3 step focal length 25 mm Metering: Centre weighted Flash fired rotated at 90degrees I turned it b/w and did some jiggery pokery with it. My questions are: 1. how could I improve my efforts with the flash (in colour there is a bit too much noise for my liking, hence the black and white) 2. although I like the timeless effect of black and white is my processing of it effective? How could I improve on it? Thank you for looking Anne |
