Default Japanese Tourist; Colour or B&W?

Silver Pavilion Lady in Colour

or

Silver Pavilion Lady

What do you think of these shots individually? Which do you prefer? Is the colour one too green?

For me - the black and white.

The colour one is TOO green to the point where the face of the 'tourist' is green - unless that was intentional?

The b/w is is more timeless, although I may have cropped it to show less of the tree tops so that the eye is drawn along the path, round the bend and back through the patch of sunlight to the tourist.

But this is IMHO

+1 on the B&W, her outfit & the background blend in together in the color, I would also crop in more on her if she is the subject of the image

I definitely prefer the black and white. As for the cropping, I don't have a problem with this version but I would be curious to see it cropped, just for a comparison.
