Really just looking for a general critique.

See, I cropped them similarly at one point, but decided against it.


I decided I liked the foreground party-goers, particularly the man on the left side, simply because it does a better job of crowding the photo, giving it depth, and placing the viewer in a more accurate "party" setting.


Justifiable?

Maybe, but it is a distraction where the girl should be the focal point of the photo. The girl still has that 3D pop with the cropped version too.
