A quick snapshot with my point-and-shoot last night while playing Settlers of Catan with my husband's family. It didn't really jump out at me until I converted it to B&W in Photoshop. I like the intensity of the scene, given that it's just a simple board game, but wondered if it would be improved if it showed more than the lower half of a concerned face and two floating arms exchanging cards. Also, I monkeyed with contrast, and would love to know if I overdid it.

I think the B&W conversion is pretty good.
One real issue I have with the photo though is it's tilted. I'd sacrifice having to crop the edges a bit if it meant rotating the photo so that the cards at the bottom of the frame are in line with the photos edge. -Brian |
