i wouldn't worry about blemishes on kids, it is who they are. Probably the one big thing I see is the squinting caused by the sun in the eyes or maybe she just like furrowing her eyebrows, but in either case it isn't relaxed. The sun is a hard light and throws hard shadows but you have, for the most part, kept them from her face. The exposure on her skin looks just about perfect.

a trick I have found for shooting a subject that is facing into sunlight is to have them close their eyes and give them a countdown so that they open their eyes just before you hit the shutter, I've found you tend to get less squinting as a result.
