Arrow Its Been A Hard Days Noon...

I was driving past when I saw this man asleep on a very busy road, on his push cart at the height of the afternoon, under the winter sun, while the shadows grew long around him. I tried to capture the harsh sun and shadows, while I tried to keep some details in the poorly lit godowns/shop behind him, to bring out the mood. I have cropped the bottom of the pic just a wee bit to bring it into the rule of thirds. But I get a feel that the pic is unbalanced. And a little crowded too.
How could I have done better?

actually i noticed this line and wished you have taken it with the man in the foreground and cars (slow shutter speed blur) on the background to show what it is that you made you stop your car and take the picture in the first place... the contrast of sleeping man and busy street will make a stronger photograph imho... just my 2 cents...

Wow! That is much more than 2 cents! Thank you. You actually are making fantastic sense! Will keep this in mind as I prowl the streets for another sleeping man

thank you that you find it helpful... definitely share your photo again when you've pulled it off... your enthusiasm and projection of so easily finding a sleeping man is quite humourous.. hehe... i dont get to see that kinda scene everyday... thanx for sharing..

@ JaxD: TYVM.

@ tyasa81: If not a sleeping man, I'll find someone just as interesting. The only frightening thing is I am shy and find it difficult to start aiming at unknown people, if they are aware....
