it isn't distracting and I didn't notice it at first but it does look weird.
maybe if you hadn't mentioned it in the headline, I wouldn't have noticed at all.

Perhaps I should have named the thread differently. Thank you for your response.

Agree with Mr. J above. Hands are tricky to pose, and sometimes hiding them is not a bad idea. (but that in itself can be an art to do it properly) But now that you brought it to our attention, I think a little of her hand should be a more visible. We shoot a lot of small kids in our business. And very often kids sleeves will totally cover the hands, and if you don't notice it at the time of the shot, they look like double amputees...not a good look to say the least

Thanks autofocus, I definitly was not going for the amputee look. Another one of those, whish I saw that at the time moments.

I also didn't notice it until you brought it to my attention. I thought that was her collar.
I am of two minds about it now. Can we see it with some of the hand showing? Can you change the exposure to show a bit of the hand or is it totally hidden by her hair? |

It's all hidden by her hair. There are a few other images in the series that show her hand. I thought about trying to bring in the hand from one of those pics, but that would be an undertaking.
