Default Playing With Christmas Lights

Christmas lights seem like a fun way to create some cool long exposure shots. I was just playing around tonight and couldn't get the focus quite right. I tried to go for a partial silhouette by adjusting the black levels. Any comments are welcome, but I'd love to know if you think the highlights and shadows on her are working or not. Thanks!

I think your model looks rather disconnected from the foreground - the lighting on her doesn't pick up all the colours of the background and so she looks as if she could have been stuck on.

Were you using manual or auto focus? I think manually setting the focus on the model before taking the shot would probably get a crisper result.

Very interesting - it's a unique look. I don't mind the lighting on the model, but I agree that the focus seems way too soft.
