Default Good shot / Bad shot ... I'm very new!

I took this shot with my rebel XS (w/ kit lens (18-55)

I'm just wondering if it is a good shot... a bad shot.. what I need to work on...

from one newbie to another this is what i think. good job getting the eyes sharp, but i think the rest of it is too overexposed.

I love the facial expressions and the eyes are pretty but it's to overexposed I think

super cute but a tad hot (overexposed) dial it down a pinch in post and you're golden.

Great shot, great composition.

If you shot in RAW overexposure is relatively easy to fix.

Did you internal flash fire? It looks to me like that might be what caused the overexposure. Try turning the power of the flash down by using flash compensation in one of the P, S (Tv), A (Av), or M modes.

Love the baby's eyes but i will agrre with most of them here..Too Over exposed!!!

It's a very good pic. It is a little over exposed, but you can fix that!

Other than the exposure issues the only thing that I would mention is moving the subject out of dead center of the picture.
