Default Amputated FOOT

Well, not really, but I cut off a portion. i love this photo but how would you crop it to make it look right? Or do you think I should leave it as is.

Any and all other critique welcome as well.
THANK YOU

Put it back. It doesn't help that he's pointing at the clipped foot.

Also, cute baby.

Nice shot , cute baby. agree with cure. too bad you shot like this. baby shots are super tricky...key is to keep at it and look for the moments with a camera ready ! all the best.

P.S. Your post title goes the extra mile in getting attention...

I don't mind the foot that much, easy to photoshop. What's bothering me a little bit is his hand, looks like he's hugging a ghost. I like the lighting, cute baby!

I would agree with the hand. He had his hand on the back of a black chair which obviously blended too well into the background. Maybe I should lower the contrast or do something to show the chair so that he isn't hugging Casper or pointing at the lack of tootsie!!

THANK YOU

I would almost suggest a vignette to draw attention away from clipping the foot, but it's already b/w. I don't know it'd help anything.

the background is too dark. i would lighten the bg in the original photo before converting to b&w so he does not look like he is floating in the dark. i lightened the bw you posted to see if there was anything in the bg. and saw there was a quilted bg. you can also crop it or edit by widening the canvas size and clone the bg to add to the canvas and add to the cut toes.
