Default Candid pics my boys playing - Lighting??

I recently posted of few of these shots in SYS - People, but after showing them to my wife wanted to, I guess reevaluate the pictures. She seemed unhappy that I did not get there whole faces in all the shots. I will post links to the untouched photos as well. I thought that the being able to capture the lighting conditions would add to the feel of the moment the photos were taken. Is the lighting distracting or take away from the photos? This was an unplanned photo session, I did try to compose as much as possible given the lighting conditions and fast movements. Any thoughts on composition, ideas for lighting, PP Work, and general feed back on the pictures would be greatly appreciated. I did do some editing in photobucket. Comments are always welcome, and it is ok to re-edit and repost my shots on DPS. Thank you for taking the time to look.
I really like this photo # 1& 2.

Hey Dan, You might want to read the Critique Forum Rules since you are new to the forum. To start with the forum does not entertain multiple photos in a single post!
