Default What can i improve?

Ive never posted for critique before so im hoping to get some feedback for improvement! Thanks

ISO 800

Not sure what other info is needed

Would have been a lovely shot but the focus is not on the babies face, but on the hat. Maybe your depth of field is a little too shallow if you wanted it all in focus. Try again with a higher f stop.

Looks like a fun shoot, but my eye was drawn right to the hat, and then I noticed the baby. Well not quite, but you get what I mean, right? :-D

I actually like the focus on the hat! It's different. Was this your intention? I think it would look nice thrown in with some other pictures of the little angle herself in focus. I would stick with a simpler blanket if I were you though, at least for this picture. It looks a little too busy to me. I think with the creative focus there is enough going on in the image without the zebra print. Nice job though, and great lighting!

it looks like a photo for the hat and not the baby and that's a shame.
plus, I don't know if anyone covered it but the hat doesn't go well with the striped background. these are two patterns that just collide.

Yeah, i see where the hat takes away from the baby, and they did bring up the zebra print being too busy for the picture. Thanks
