1) It's a little underexposed
2) For some reason it doesn't feel particularly colorful especially seeing as it's a pride parade. Unfortunately that isn't really something you can fix anymore. 3) Tighten up your frame around your subject. Crop out the right-hand side to a little bit to the right of the pink feathers. I don't need to see the guy's face back there especially because he doesn't seem particularly happy for a pride parade. Crop out the top to the same distance from the green feathers to tighten up around your subject. It's probably impossible to go back and retake that but as it's gay pride you really should have caught the whole rainbow flag. It just generally doesn't say "Pride Parade." Or maybe I'm just spoiled because I'm in San Francisco... |

Thank you so much for your comment!
... yes. I agree with you on all the points. Cropped the picture a little bit. However, it's not possible to completely crop out the unhappy guy The name of the event was 'Delhi Queer Pride 2010' .. that's why I have mentioned it like that. Thank you once again

No problem. It's not bad. I like it, it's just missing that something. Maybe confetti in the background. It just doesn't seem interesting. It just feels like one block of color after another.
It's very simple, which can be good, but in my experience gay pride parades have always been about fun and excitement and this just doesn't do it. Maybe next time before you take a picture ask "what's special about this and how can I bring it out?" I'd be interested to see if you have anything else from the parade. edit: oh my god, I just realized I wrote "It's bad" when I meant to write "It's NOT bad." I'm so sorry. Image didn't post but I followed the link.
Yes. It is much better! Holy crap, I just looked through the gallery. They're all fantastic! Yes! You captured everything that I feel a gay pride parade is! The crowds, the colors, the smiles, the warmth, the flamboyance -- everything! You got it! It made me smile and that's what any pride parade should do. Great job! I don't know why you didn't post any of the others. |

Seriously, my hat's off to you. I am absolutely wretched at shooting people. I wish I had that skill.
I know what was wrong with that first photo now. It was a pride parade photo with few people and no smiling. Lo and behold, it's all in the other shots. |
