IS there something specific you'd like people to comment on? You'll get more responses rather than just saying "have at it"

That said, the BW conversion is a little muddy, it lacks contrast and is overall unnecessarily dark for my taste. The concept of simplicity is a good one with great compositional components, but the execution, such as straightening the line between wall and floor, as well as the already mentioned conversion lets it down. HAppily those things can be fixed with a straightening effort and a little play in levels.

It's very much underexposed and the center frame position of the subject doesn't work for me. I did a quick levels adjustment and a re-crop, and in MHO, it makes for a better composition. I'll post it if you'd like to see it

As PP said it's dark, and the conversion is muddy. Also I get the idea of it, but I would much rather see the man's face, and his emotions.

I do not have idea of what colors this photo has, but for me I think maybe a color photo would work better than b/w, or maybe is because of what our fellowes DPSers have said already: it is underexposed.

I would also suggest to be careful with the horizontal lines and maybe the thirds rule would work better than having the subject in the middle.

MHO.

Cheers!

besides what previous comments said about the contrast and exposure, I think it's a very interesting idea, with the framing and all.
the thing that bothers me is that he is wearing black, and his hair is black and thus, looking at him from behind.. is quite boring. I think this would have worked way better if he was facing the camera and still within the frame.
