Took this picture last night with a friend of mine. Used one 500W light on her left side with a reflector on the right and another 500W light on the background. There are also 2 other pictures that are similar which are posted on my flickr (Flickr: Hilary Cooper's Photostream) as well as a couple other pictures from the same shoot. Mostly looking for critique on the pose and expression but also on lighting and anything else you can think of.

i think you nailed this. I don't see anything I would change. Eye is sharp, highlights are controlled, detail in the shadows, catchlights, even a bit of a triangle kiss of light on the shadow side cheek. composition is good, crop is effective....

It's a very good shot and the best of the set.
Still, I think I would have gone a bit more dramatic with the treatment given the subject/feel.

Attached is a quick edit with a tighter crop to remove the slightly distracting left shoulder and put it into more of a "normal" format. Theres things that I didn't do well like the corner of her mouth etc, but you get the idea.
