Default old man in B & W

Looking for some comments on the B & W conversion. There were too many competing colors in the original -- orange bench, pink, red, and blue shirt. Does this version have enough tonal range and contrast? Any other comments are welcome as well. Thanks!

In my opinion it looks pretty good. Seems to have a good range of tones and I find the image draws you in.

Nice work, needs a little improvement in composition though...
A sidestep to the right perhaps?

B&W conversion is good, tonal range is good also

I wish I'd been able to catch him at another angle but I was walking past him at an outdoor concert and caught what I could! Thanks for the comments!

I don't know if there's any way to recover any detail in the lower-middle part of his beard, but it seems a bit washed out. Otherwise, very nice.

I can see what you mean, dlambert. I'll work on it and see if I can recover some of it. Thanks for the suggestion!
