Hi all,
I took this photo today and I just love it. I know it's a bit soft and the elbow is a bit chopped off but my question is.. does it work for you? would you be happy with this photo as a costumer? thanks for the help ![]()

thanks for the feedback Lisa.
I went and checked again for this banding issue you've pointed out and it's there in the RAW version. weird. tried blurring it or any other treatment with no luck of softening it out, any ideas? is it really that bad?

Hey Mr. Jones. I like it! As a mom I can tell you yes I would be happy with this photo. Other than the elbow which has been mentioned it is great. You captured his attitude! And I agree love the catchlights. I'm not really seeing the banding issue on my screen. Nice work.

The chopped elbow is unfortunate, but the rest of this portrait makes up for it! Love his expression and the lighting is gorgeous...I also like your BW conversion. Nice work!

I am just a beginner and probably shouldn't post an opinion but, I think I would crop it in tighter even. Maybe like this?

Such a great shot. He is one tough cookie here, wouldn't want to find him in a dark alley - ha ha. I like the crop but maybe not so close to his head on the right, I think just cropping the bottom of the shirt out, but that's just me. You've got a great photo; I could see it as a stock photo even.
