Question Senior session this afternoon...

and I want to recreate this shot with the new client. She's a beautiful girl, and I can see her doing this pose justice.

How can I improve over this last try? I know I need to harness that fly-a-way hair somehow, and hopefully it won't be an issue today, but what else would you guys suggest I give more attention to?

I would try to work with the exposure and give a little more definintion to her head. I like the ethereal effect but my eye just wanders all over the lightest parts.

Good note. The girl I'm working with today is brunette, so that should help some, but the light will be in the same general position, so I'll make note of that. Thanks!

this might be too late- but i'd try and include both arms in full. this one feels a little strange with the left arm coming out of nowhere and the right one cut off.

just work on the exposure to get the skies back (I doubt if it's even possible in this case)
other than that, I like it, the lightning, the pose... everything.
just with there wasn't so much white

is it the pose or the location you like? I think it would be a stronger shot with a background this is not brighter than the subject...unless you are going for that sun flare look.
