The good:
I like the idea of your shot. The shooting thru the net especially when it isnt a sports game. The composition is pretty good.

The bad:
I dont like the lighting..... It takes away from the picture. The sunspots blur what could be a very nice image. It seems like the entire top, except for the arm, is washed out. And maybe its me, but I see smudges all around the pic, most noticebly(?) the bottom left is smudged, and the bottom right is a sun flare.... Not sure if you were trying to do that on purpose.

Everything seems like you tried to go for an old school black and white look but its more white than a mix.

A couple examples:

The girl on the right, her hat just seems to fade into nothing. No outline of the edge. And not a big fan of her expression. Seems kinda out of it honestly.

The girl on the left tho, I like her expression. Its her hand thats the issue(for me). Her hair seems like it could be dark enough to give it a border or edge to her head and not fade into the background like the other girl.

If it were me, and if it were possible, I would try and crop the girl on the right out. Lighten the while balance or add to the black/shadow balance.

Of course, I am newish to this. So I am sure people more experienced than me will give you better suggestions.

thank you,
but i was going for that kind of 'out of it look' & didn't want the shot too perfect. the smudges weren't on purpose but i liked them as it had a sort off edge to it. I know its more white then black but please bear in mind that this was outside and as much as i tried to darken it, it had that sharp lighting.

thanks though, and will bear comments in mind for the future
