Critique please.

Really great light, and wonderful exposure. I think you captured the subject well. The only thing I'd say would be to tighten the image by cropping in a bit. That will bring the viewer in tighter and accentuate this already great image.

I tend to agree with Daniel regarding the crop. the water in the background is meaningless cause without the title I would have had no idea that it was water and that the photo was taken at water gardens. crop it tight to put the focus on her lovely face.
another thing, I've checked the photo at it's largest scale and it seems a bit soft (at least the eyes) - I would sharpen them a bit in PP and you'll have a great photo.
regarding the EXIF, why are you using f/8? was there a reason?
I'm asking cause you could have used a wider aperture to lower the ISO to 800 or 400.

The ISO was a complete rookie mistake. I was shooting in low light just before this shot and did not move it back down. Lesson learned .

I did a tighter crop and edge burn to bring out the subject.

The cropped version definitely makes her the focus. I love the light in the image -- great job!
