Default Fix or reshoot?

I set my ISO to 800 to do this indoor (handheld) shot of my daughter, but the image came back to me at ISO 1600. Not sure what happened there. Can it be fixed or is it a complete scrap? I've already tried noise reduction and did some minor light and contrast tweaking.

5.6, 1/80, 1600, 55m

Thanks for looking!

if you have the possibility to reshoot, it's always better, but use a reflector this time.
otherwise, use layers to brighten just her back and another layer with mask to reduce noise from her face without reducing the sharpness in her eyes.

Concerning your ISO, check to see if you have your camera set to Auto-ISO. Set this way, your camera may have made this switch. The image is salvagable, but re-shooting it as suggested by Mr Jones is probably your best bet. I've attached a little re-work that I did on it..better, but not perfect. BTW, I used some of the functions in Topaz plug ins to yield the results

I actually like the lighting, the way the shadows play on her face and the contrast between the light and the dark. It looks kind of moody. But that's just me. Photography is subjective after all. It's not a "normal" photo, but that's what I like about it.
Beautiful portrait.

Thanks, guys. It was definitely not meant to be full light, but I did want more light on the back of her hair. I love the way her face turned out, minus the awful noise. Good thing this particular little model is always at my disposal and ready to pose! I'll definitely reshoot it when we have good light.

The sun is supposed to return to our area today sometime, so maybe this afternoon we can try again. Soon, we'll have snow piling up on the outsides of the windows, and I'll do the same type thing then.
