Hey everybody,
I just wondered what people thought of this shot? I did my first successful newborn shoot last monday (1wk old - very cute!). Anyway, I took this shot & just wondered what people thought of it. It's actually my favourite shot, but I just wonder if it works, considering the "limb chopping" rule? ![]() Details: SS: 1/60 f/5.6 ISO 800 No flash Manual Mode More can be found in this thread 1 week old :) - I'd love to hear any comments you have

I love the picture! Being a mom of a toddler, I love the little details. The only thing that I can see as a "negative" (although I still like the photo) is that there are 2 focal points. One being the hand and the other being the ear. It kind of draws your eyes back and forth. You may get a better shot if you had one focal point (I would chose the hand), shoot at a low aperture and have the other focal point (the ear) blurred out. To get that shot you would have to shoot at an angle, not straight on though.
Again, totally just my opinion. |
