Hi Sourabh.das,

At first glance it is a nicely composed photo, the black and white conversion is good, some areas may be washed out but it's ok.

What I would like to comment is just one thing, since only the eyes are seen in the photo, I'm wishing the eyes are looking at the camera and that it is sharp, it would definitely up the strength of the photo.

Also, when you show exif data please to include the shutter speed, aperture, iso and white balance

Cheers

This is absolutely precious comment for me. Related to exif data, i would like to say that, I just copied this exif data as it is from flickr. But the thing that you demanded seems to be absent, so how do I get that?

Hi,

I checked the original also.

Below is the image edited in photoshop but was shot in jpg format. This has everything that you asked for. (shutter speed, aperture, iso and white balance)

Padma Palkar

This is what brought me to the conclusion that jpg has this type of info where as the image that I posted in the thread that i have started is in RAW. I was stunned to see that even the camera name appeared in the EXIF info of those photos which were shot in jpeg format, but at the same time RAW image did not have these.. Let me know if someone can guide me.. I can be very much wrong but I wrote what I saw. I started shooting in RAW recently, if you see my old photos in flickr all photos have required info where as all images shot in RAW are missing those important infos. I have also checked the properties of the original copy of the RAW as well as jpg format photos. Photos shot in jpg has those charecterestics where as RAW is missing those. thats strange..

Info on shutter speed, aperture, iso and white balance is usually found when you view the file information in your computer, or when you upload an unedited (or not heavily edited) file up on flickr.
Check out the EXIF info on your "law of motion" photo and you'll see the info I'm talking about

Exactly.. You are right.. But this image was shot in JPG format and not in RAW format. This is what I mentioned in the last message. And gave an example photo also of "Padma Palkar". If you see my old photos, which were in JPG format, they all had the info you are asking about. But after I started shooting in RAW (recent photos), none of them has those infos. shocking.... Or I dont know if it is a disadvantage of this particular camera that i use.. Kodak Easyshare Z1015IS

I don't shoot RAW that much but I figure the info should be in the file if you view it with a raw converter or when you are editing it, perhaps someone else here who is adept at shooting in RAW can help

Hi Sourabh.

Go to "Properties" in your original image file. In the dialog, you will see to tabs, "general" and summary".

In Summary, at the right corner bottom of the active area, you will have either simple or advanced. In advanced, you will find that the whole exposure data is present, including shutterspeed, ISO, aperture etc. This would work essentially on the jpeg you have created, and will be absent on the RAW image file. So you need to convert it; seems you are using PS (w RAW plugin) to process, it will be there in your output file. Or even the first time when you select "open image" in your PS window.

Hope this helps.
Cheers

Hi Sanyal,

How are you doing?
I have attached 3 images. Request you to kindly go through these

File Name :Properties_Of_RAW_KDC_File.JPG :
Properties Of Original RAW File.

File Name :Properties_Of_JPG_File_After_RAW_Processed.JPG :
Properties Of JPG File After RAW file is processed and in Kodak Easyshare and converted into jpg by Kodak Easyshare itself.

File Name :Properties_Of_Photo_Shot_In_JPG_Format.JPG :
Properties of a photo shot in a jpg format directly and processed in photoshop.

on each image you can see the title bar(blue bar) also.

I tried everything I could, but could not include the EXIF info of RAW file in its image.

But if I see the properties of RAW file in the Kodak Easyshare Software, I could see it. I have attached its screen shot also.
File Name : Properties_Of_RAW_File_Seen_In_Kodak_Software.JPG

I will check your images in a bit (rushing for dinner now)

Just had a ridiculously simple idea and thought i'd jot it down before i forget. If you have the original image file, copy it back into your camera card and look at the EXIF in your playback mode!!!

Of course, this sounds a bit out of way for doing over and again, but for lack of a better solution, this is what comes to mind.
