Hi DPS readers, this is my first attempt to post some of the portrait images which I took in the park here in Dubai. Your input will be highly appreciated. Unfortunately Flicker is blocked here in UAE, don't know the reason why....
For the B/W images, just used Photoshop. For against the light composition, I used the in-camera flash with 0 compensation. Canon EOS 400D ISO 800 f 5.6 Sigma 70-300mm lens

well, it's a lovely portrait with a great expression. but it lacks contrast and focus.
hope you don't mind but I've edited it in photoshop, just played with the levels, sharpened it a bit and played a little with the color balance (if you want I can explain with greater detail) and this is what came out. you can see how it feels like a whole layer was lifted off the photo.
