Default Boy on the beach --not a portrait

I find this shot entrancing and am interested in receiving constructive criticism on it.

In particular I like the play of colours and the effect of movement brought about by the angled horizon, the V of the boy's legs and the directionality of the clouds.

I haven't altered the photo on the computer. Here is the info:

CANON EOS 350D DIGITAL
ISO400
Focal 18mm
Aperture f/16
Shutter 1/640

I don't have a movement feeling and the horizon looks angled by mistake and not on purpose. if you want to take an angle that take a sharper one and angle to 30 or 40 degrees.
but the main thing that's bothering here is the crop of his feet, they just feel missing and distracting.
another thing is the focus, I think it fell a little after the boy which sent your main object a bit out of focus.
I do love the clouds and the colors are great

Indeed it was taken "by mistake" and that is part of its attraction for me... I took many in this series and always return to this one specificly as my favourite...maybe i'm strange. Maybe it's because I like the spontaneity of the photo...that part of just capturing a moment in time...??

I guess I shouldn't have said movement but I should have said tension? I'm not sure but I like the fact that the boy has his feet cut off (it's disturbing) and the angles are playing against each other. To me it's almost as if it should be a certain kind of photo and it's not and that's also a point of tension.
