any ideas on how to remove object in bottom right of picture? is it distracting?

a very close and touching moment.
that thing at the bottom right is distracting but that might me just because you mentioned it and my eye went straight to it
the biggest issue here is the blur. it just feels too soft and blurred. try sharpening it a bit in PP, I think it will turn it into a great photo!

it's just a bit distractng but doesn't bother me.
you can remove it by careful cloning of the hair towards the right side to expand the hair and with the burn tool using the softest adjustment, farly large, and set to 20% opacity, burn the bottom right corner slowly to approximate and continue the dark area at the top to give an impression of roundness. make the brush very small, the size of the hair strands and set to 10% opacity and burn the hair following the flow towards the darkened portion. there is a bit of lightened part which i presume is a portion of the baby's ear. you can dodge this very lightly to enhance it. i know this is not so simple but maybe with some practice you can do it.
