Default is it too soft??

Hi everybody.
On my previous posts it has been pointed out how soft the pictures look, in this picture i tryed to go easy with the blur.
What do you all think? is it too soft?
Any comments, criticism and advises are greatly apreciated!

Beautiful shot, beautiful baby. IMO I would have the hands in the frame {not cut off} and maybe the eyes a little sharper, JMO.

I wouldn't have cropped the hands.

To me, the composition is a little off. I don't think I'm nuts about the vertical frame, and I don't know what to look at with the tree on frame left and baby on frame right. Maybe if the baby were right by the tree, or the baby could be positioned in the foreground and tree in background, a more pleasing composition would be in order.

This could use some brightening, as well.

I would have left the hands in even though they are in the blanket. Also I would play around with your metering. It looks like your camera was exposing for the background and not the baby.

Super cute baby and I love how she is looking up. As previous replies say, I wish her hands were there. I think if the picture were lightened up a bit, I wouldn't be so drawn to the tree and the background. Maybe use some layers and work on lightening up the baby so she stands out more, she seems to be the darkest part of the picture, but want your eye drawn too. As far as it being soft, do your blur your pics or reduce the noise? If you blur them, try to find a noise reduction, you might like the results a little better. And I can't really say on this picture if the blur is too much, she is too dark to really tell! Love this picture though!
