Default Chloa photoshopped take two!

chloa photoshop practice_edited-4

Canon Rebel EOS XS 18-55mm
manual mode
ISO 100
Aperture f/5.6
Shutter speed 1/80
focal length 55mm
flash did not fire
photoshop elements 6

So after getting some tips on this photo I went back to photoshop and tried a few things. Did I get the blue cast out? Any other thoughts. Not real sure about it. Thanx for looking!

it still feels too cold and blue.
check your WB on the camera, I think you're using a constant setting that doesn't work. try working in auto WB mode.

It's still bluish, you can see that by the whites in her eyes, little adjustments in color balance may fix it

Next time try to take note of the white balance that you're shooting in, if you're shooting outdoors the white balance should be 5,600 kelvin or Daylight

Thanx Deck. As I just posted to MrJones on second look I noticed it still blue. Back to the drawing board

I think if you go to levels, and instead of adjusting the RGB channel, choose red, green or blue independently. make adjustments while previewing... then finally altering the output on the channel that fixes it. Your photo is copyrighted on flickr, so I couldn't fix it to show you, but i did a screen shot of it, and it works well. good luck

Its a simple fix really. I just warmed it up and bumped up the reds in photoshop. It took about 2 seconds.

Adjusted exposure in Lightroom. In Photoshop: Upped the warmth, evened out skin tones, adjusted, brightened the eyes, put a little “shine” on the hair.

Does it work for you, Sabrina?
