Default My Wife rushing out the door...

I told her to stand still so I could grab the shot getting light from both windows before she ran out the door to go shopping. She gave me one shot so I threw it in Aperture Priority mode. I think the background is a little too powerful, but I still like the shot. I would like to know what you think about the total picture, composition, lighting, ect. I did a little noise reduction in photoshop. All comments welcome. Thanks!

Lens: 35mm F/1.8G
Aperture: F/2.8
Shutter Speed: 1/100s
ISO: 400

Nice shot, beautiful woman.

You might want to do something about those blown lights on the window, especially near her face.

Thanks! I tried to mess around in photoshop with those blown out lights but couldn't get anything I liked. I wish I would put it in manual and raised the shutter speed a little bit.

Here is a very quick, not super accurate rendition of what I might do:

Wife-1

In PS layers, I focused on the face, blurring the body and the background. I also cloned out some of the distracting hairs at the right side of her lovely face where it met the window. Sharpened eyes and lips.

Obviously, you can blur/accurately as much or as little as you want with the high res photo.

There are so many ways to do things in Photoshop. This is merely one of them.
