it's a nice start but:
1. her right hand is cut off and it looks weird (you can crop out hands and legs but the place you crop makes a big difference).
2. her leg popping out at the back is distracting.
3. it looks more like a candid shot, am I right?

other than that, sharpness and colors look ok to me.

i really like the colors and the lighting- the pale pink is sweet against her skin. i also really like the big bright eyes. this is what i'd try and think about *myself* if i were to do it again:

can you take off the orange bracelet? i keep looking at it and it clashes with the pink and introduces a funny color to your otherwise nicely color-simple composition

otherwise, i agree with mr jones about chopping off body parts- plus, baby hands are very cute and it would be nice to see those.

ETA: oh, one other thing- people will differ on this, but i like to see the whole face- can you pull the blanket down a bit?

and she looks old enough to hold a toy- maybe if you had a cute toy that she could hold- then you could get her hands in the shot plus she wouldn't be messing with the blanket...

babies are tough!

oh wow. thanks for the critics.

for no. 1 = i didn't even notice it until you told me and almost all of my photos of her have her hand cut off.

for no. 3 = now that you mentioned it... i am not sure anymore. i thought i was taking her portrait.

thanks a lot for the feedbacks. really appreciate it.

Dang with the gold bangles. Hahaha. I didn't even notice they look orange in the picture. I will be more careful of that next time.

I have taken note of the cutting off hand.

And yes, I thought it looked weird too that the pink blanket covered part of her mouth.

Other photos have had her holding some toys... thanks

Really appreciate your feedback. It does help so I know which area to improve.

Thanks again, Kristin!
