Default Shh!!

Recently did a shoot for 2 sisters I love this shot but want honest critique on it. How is the composition and the over all set up of the shot do u think it looks goos with the little sister peeking from behind the tree do u think it says shhh dont tell her I am here???? What does this shot say to you and how would you improve it?

The word Custodian was the first impression for me. Nice shot! I can see this one framed and placed on your table somewhere.

by 'custodian' i think he means it looks like the elder sister is looking after the younger one, or guarding her...

the image is nice, but their faces seem underexposed. maybe use masking layers and a curves adjustment so as to avoid blowing out the white on her jersey.

also, i think the vignette is a bit heavy handed. is there a specific reason you rotated the image?

Yes, safeguarding the little sister.

To add to DawnBrandon post, I'd add only 1 critique: the bright blue & white jersey was the only distraction for me, as I feel it takes away focus and soften the faces.

I find that just straight images are boring all the time so in alot of my shoots many images are rotated

Maybe. Perhaps this is an opportunity for you to explore options with composition and shooting angles/distances that would eliminate the need for harsh rotations to add pazazz?

I like the composition, but this vignette is VERY heavy...

The colors are great, and I like the lighting, but for some reason, the girl behind the tree seems disproportionately small -- like, I know she's her little sister, and further away from the camera, too, but she seems *really* small. I wonder if it would look any more natural at a "normal" focal length (50-80mm)?
