Default Playing in Puddle

Picture Of my son playing in the puddles, i tried to take a different type of photo in regards to reflections, i tried to focus in on the bubbles of when he was jumping through and watching the splash. i used a low F stop to try and throw Dylan and the closer bubbles out of focus. Focal point was around the mid face / nose area.

opinions on how to improve this technique / image / post editing.

Wow - I like it. Is there a color version to compare with?

Great concept you've got going on here. I would much rather see it in color, though.

Thanks for the comments, yeah the original photo is colour without editing, This photo i have not played with the contrast or mid tones as when i brought a little more light to the face it seem to detract from the overall photo, the only thing i have done is a slight gradient at the bottom to try and lead the blue into the middle of the picture as with the white top and large amount of blue seemed too bright.
