I was out with a friend and got this shot. Is the crop ok? I took it down from the top. Also I was wondering about the edit. And anything else that catches the eye would be great.

I love the edit except for the little girl. she came out horrible for my taste.
if you're trying to make this a photo about "friendship" that I think both of the needs to be in focus, otherwise it's not even and doesn't feel close.

That makes sense. What Fstop should I have used to get them both in focus? I shot that wide open (1.8). Maybe 4, or 5.6? Thanks for the opinion!

I think 5.6 or 8 would have gotten her in focus too.

So would this improve the shot? I know it no longer is a "friends shot" but does this make the image better?

I want to see his face, it feels awkward that way.
