my wife and i worked together on this picture, i know the right side blown out, but what do you guys think?

it feels a bit soft, try sharpening it a bit.
also, try and lower the brightness and exposure, it's over exposed a little. great pose and a beautiful son!

I love it just the way it is. I would consider high key, which is essentially controlled overexposure. Yes, it is light, but you still maintain all the important details and even most of the color in the highly exposed places. Losing those would make it too overexposed in my mind. I think the eyes are gorgeously sharp and the rest is okay soft in this use. It adds to the dreamy feel of the whole shot. Good job!

It does seem a bit soft... either a misfocus or a too high of skin softening in post production.
Otherwise a great picture of a precious little guy. |
