Some advice or critique?

This is a shot of my nephew, Preston. I was at the park with my brother and mom with him. He got into a wooden car play-set and I got the picture, how is it?

There's something about it that I don't know... Something seems off to me really, and I was wondering if anyone could spot a few things and give me some pointers.

Very nicely done--I like the vignette around the edges.

well thanks :P added the vignette to put on a little depth to the shot and to bring the subject more into focus than what was around him.

i think this is very nice. The big thing that I see is the washed out bright spots behind him. Unfortunate and not a lot you can do about it but ideally you wouldn't want these bright spots in the image
