Default Kids Birthday Party

I am very interested to see what people think of this photo. I had to take it quickly because the kids wouldn't stay interested and the backyard casts a lot of harsh shadows. There really was nowhere to get a clean shot. I used picnik for the post editing. What could I have done to improve the photo?

the vignetting is a little too harsh you lose almost all detail in the bottom third of the frame. nice lomo effect however.

the bottom third of the frame is a from the house. I did probably overdo the vignetting, but it looked strange without any.

i agree that i like the treatment of this image but that the vignetting is a little on the heavy handed side.....

The vignetting is still too much even if you had a shadow from the house on the bottom third of the frame you can crop it out and make it a panoramic type shot. Or when taking the picture you should have fired the flash to fill in the shadow form the house some. That way you dont completely lose all detail. Anyways as it is with this picture I would just crop. It looks better than having that huge black mass at the bottom of the frame.
