Default Outdoor night photoshoot

Hi! I did this photoshoot for a friend who is majoring in fashion design. I agreed to do it for free but got really scared when she said she wanted to do them at a park at night (it was the mood she needed for the style of clothing). It was supposed to be a low life kid of style.

I was about to say no, since I only have an old flash I could use outdoors without electric supply; but I finally accepted since it was due today and she had no one else to go to.
The thing is we kinda drew a lot of attention, two models wearing very eccentric outfits and a huge golden reflector, and I was very frightened that someone would rob us (we were in downtown Buenos Aires)

Anyway... questions:

1) Would you have accepted (assuming you had the time)?
2) What else could I have done about the lighting (I bounced the flash in the reflector)?
3) What mistakes (out of the hundreds I made) would you point out regarding posing?
4) How would you have done it, if you had the same equipment I did?

Please check out the rest of the shoot at Ana's Photoshoot - a set on Flickr

*Also excuse my English, I haven't practiced in a while.

I would have. If you love shooting, it's just another excuse to have fun. Plus it's always rewarding to help a friend out.

2) What else could I have done about the lighting (I bounced the flash in the reflector)?
It looks like your lighting worked out great. You also could have used a soft box or one of those Velcro on reflectors.

3) What mistakes (out of the hundreds I made) would you point out regarding posing?
The posing actually looks alright, the models appear quite natural. You could have also set them up in a face-on portrait position, captured them walking or in some other type of movement/interaction.

4) How would you have done it, if you had the same equipment I did?
You seemed to make very good use of the equipment you had. I think shooting this at night with a reflector was a great idea and turned out quite well.

I think you did a great job! As far as posing the models goes....was the fashion designer happy with the photos? The pose seems to focus more on their happy/serene faces than the outfits that she designed. This is not a criticism...again, I think you did great!

She was either happy or reluctant to criticize my work since I didn't charge her =P.

You are right about their faces looking more important than the clothing, and that's probably my mistake, If anyone has any follow-ups on that it would be grat
