She is very cute! Do you have one where she is looking at the camera?
My taste is that unless kids are doing something active or sleeping - it's nice to have the interaction of them looking at you(camera)

Colors are very nice as well.

She's 13 months old and can be very difficult. LOL I will try to get one with her looking head on. Thank you

I liked it. I would have liked her looking at hte camera a bit more, but I know how toddlers can be. I think cropping the top down a little would be good though.

I am total amateur so you might not want to listen to me.

I think you the right idea. If I were you I wouldn't get in too close, really get down to her level and get mama to get her to look at you and smile or not. To really get kick ass portraits invest for only $200 for a 35mm f1.8 prime lens from Nikon. The f1.8 will blur the background and allow the child to pop out. I like to keep the f stop at around 2.4. Kinda like this shot.
