Default still needs retouching?

I took this photo of my son as we we're resting after a 3 hour mountain walk in Austria.

Personally i like the photo very much, but i see a blue spot on the right bottom but i didn't want to crop it out as i like the composition as is. Or should i?
other than that a collegue recommended to change this into a lowkey b/w picture of which i'm not so sure.

How do you feel about this? (other comments are also welcome)

Well earned rest

I would clone (not crop) it out.

the blue spot should be easy to take care of with the clone brush.

I agree that the clone brush should be used to take it out. I adore this photo. The blue spot (albeit small) is bright, and it distracted my eye from what mattered in the shot.

I say good composition. At first I didn't care for the crumbs on his face and hands but it actually adds interest and kind of makes whatever he is eating seem more tasty. I would say that the sharpening you did is a bit overdone. It makes some of the highlights in his hair look like they are grey hairs. Maybe tone that down just a tad would be my suggestion.
