Default Diving

Hey there,
I recently shot a picture of my friend as he just came out of the water, I was trying to catch the water drops on his face which I kinda succeded in doing at I guess.

Diving

And here's the EXIF: Exif | Diving | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

I'd like your opinions regarding that half of his face is dark and the other side is bright, what do you think? And also does the background bother you? Since it's yellow, I was trying to get it more interesting or just casual white but I'm not really good at post processing. So if someone knows how to do it I'd appreciate if he'd share it with me or either fix it by himself and post it below.

Thanks for your feedback in advance.
