Default Portrait Critique, Please?

Hi All. I am a new Forum user on DPS. I have been learning and going to this site for some time now. I have decided to get some opinions on my work now. I am fairly new to the portrait side of photography and that is why I would like to get critiqued on some of my work. It would be much appreciated.

This shot is from a shoot that I had with two girls. They were first time models and they did a really good job. They took direction well and were very enthusiastic.

The rest of their shoot are here at my website.

Thanks.

I only see one photo and that is the one with the girl in the wheat field. The axiom in photography is that you need to be very careful about covering even a part of someone's face. Doing so has huge implications and that is what you are after, then great, but if not, it can create too many questions without answers. Better to venture into those waters with great care.

This may not be the best place to comment on your advice and not the picture, but I just want to say that your direction, tone, and teaching are some of the best that I get a chance to read. You back your responses with references and positive instruction. Thank you Lee for your time that you place into helping on this forum.

Hey, I'm a novice so please take this critique with a grain of salt
I don't like that you can't see her eyes. Her right eye is way too dark, and her left eye is almost covered. I think if you could brighten up her eyes somehow it could make a good picture
