That tree - is there a point to it? Dead center composition could work with this, but with the uneven background and that large trunk on the right, there's too much going on.
Lighting - how did you do it? Looks like key was over the model, and fill camera right? or where you cross lighting with height to the left and lower to the right? either way you're missing some fill from the front of the camera - shadowing is messy on her arm. I feel like a much closer crop would work with this pose which is unfortunately missing too many features to be interesting to me in this form. the aesthetics of her collar bone, jaw, chest, shoulder, those lines are nice, but lost with everything else going on - and without seeing her face, i can;t get a connection to it. I know that a closer image of those aspects isn;t what you were going for however and because of that it somewhat missed the mark for me. Either her whole form needs to be in the frame, or to needs to be cropped closer - to me it's in limbo. Just my opinion however. |

Not sure why, but the background bugs me. I just doesn't seem to fit and the chopped off body parts feels... well.. choppy. Tighter or wider crop definitely Did you use lights other than natty light? PS being able to see a larger version would be nice as well. |
