Hello-
I took this pictures on a beach last Sunday and I don't even know those kids, but they looked so adorable I couldn't resist.
My questions - should this picture need to be cropped a little on the top and bottom? Does the boy's short is too dark?
It was taken under the bright sun ( i know, i know) - so do colors seem a little washed out?
'Is the girl's hat overexposed? If you think so - how to fix it?

I think that the hat looks good, you can still see details in the fabric. I would probably crop a little bit especially at the top because the horizon isn't level and also because it's such a small strip, it would distract more then add to it.

And I take photos of strangers all the time... sometimes the photo offered is so good you just can't resist.

i think this is a wonderful shot- something those poor anonymous parents would kill to own, i'm sure. it is incredibly hard, in my experience, to get two little kids in the same shot and both looking cute. i try every day

yes, i'd crop a bit off the top and bottom so that the ocean looks like it goes on forever.

I agree with cropping out that sliver of horizon, but other than that I wouldn't change a thing. I love this shot. It looks like he's trying to get a date...

Sooo cute! I agree with the others. I would definitely crop or clone out the horizon since it's not straight. The hat looks fine (Not blown). I would maybe brighten it up a smidge..but just a tiny bit.
