Default B&W conversion

Thanks for everyone's help on this site. Will you please critique the B&W conversion? Also, offer your thoughts on whether or not the chair is too distracting. I couldn't figure out a way to crop this and make it better. Or you could let me know maybe what I could have done better/different....

Thanks!

I think the chair is a little distracting, but the young model is very cute!

I think you did a pretty good job on the b&w conversion, but I would definitely burn out the chair.

You could have moved the chair away before you took the shot. Look carefully at all 4 corners in your viewfinder to make sure everything you want is there, and things you don't want aren't there. That will save you a lot of time in Photoshop.

Definitely lose the chair.

Did you smooth his skin at all? If so, I think you took a little far.
