So I took this picture in Florence, Italy as a college student with a cheapo digital camera. This girl was sitting there motionless, seemingly lost in the beauty of Florence and I just had to take a photo of her. I like this picture except for the bag which seems to be a huge distraction. I tried using the clone stamp but the bag is way too huge and I don't have enough exposure to her leg to completely erase the bag. I was wondering if people can offer me any suggestions as well as critiques of how I could improve my shots. Thanks! Last edited by xtinnna; 08-23-2010 at 12:46 AM. |

When I have distractions, sometimes a black and white treatment works...you'd lose the sun though.

I think it could have been improved if you were a little higher when taking the picture, for a better angle, you would have gotten more background which kind of shows what you think she is enjoying. Her skin is a little too orangy for me. I do like, however the moment you caught. I love her body position. You caught a nice moment.
