Default newborn: 6 weeks

Hello all,

I am trying to develop myself into newborn photography. I had my second shoot on Saterday, for a friend of mine.I know she'll like every single picture with her little boy on, but I would like to know what you think.

Feel free to give your opinion and suggestions for improvement:
- Are the colors okay?
- what about the composition?
- would this be the kind of quality people would expect for a paying shoot? Or is this still way of?
- Is this sharp enough?
- Isn't there too much noise?
- Are there any other suggestions? (even little details?)

Thanks in advance!

Yes I like them. Soft and popping at the same time

Composition brought out a big smile on me. Looks different and IMO goes well with the pose & expression. I might try to straighten it for comparison.

Yep this is as good as I've seen around. With baby shoots, like with any other portrait, is about getting creative and not do a standard pose or composition. You are doing good.

HD

I don't see any.

I am not sure if I like the baby. Also, one more thing to try out would be to give some room in the foreground. Doesn't look like it fits the rule of thirds, and not that every pic should, but this one seems to be one that will go very well if it was. The head and lil butts at an angle might make a more striking photo.

I love what you've done

I love this shot! So cute. I think some newborn photos can be so overly kitch. But I really like what you've done...everything about it, in fact!
