I think it takes guts to do photography with models, I was in the same boat 2 months ago. It's really hard to direct and translate your vision to pictures. But when the pictures work.. man they work.

Critique:

Black and white pic:

Great pose: great everything.. except that she is almost blinking, you need to help her get that expression on her face that catches people attention (make her smile, laugh), the face looks very soft. since the focus of a pretty model is always her face, the face should be (especially the eyes) very focus, very sharp. Other than that.. I like the pic.

Color Pic:

The girl is very very beautiful, so that's perhaps the only interesting thing about this pic, you gotta work on your framing, her legs are chopped off. She looks a little bit bored.. Have her user her arms and hands to make it more dynamic, more inviting.

I hope I wasn't too crude, it's a great start, keep practicing, don't give up. This is a gorgeous girl, if she is a friend or a relative and you can work with her again, do. You and her got great potential.

Cheers,

Alfredo

This one was actually shot that way, zoomed in closer to her face. We have a few others with the legs. I appreciate any and all feedback though, not at all crude..
