This was taken on a recent vacation in Jamaica. We went to the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston where from across the parking lot I zoomed in on the concession stand girl. She was just standing there with the light hitting her so perfectly. I switched the camera to Continuous mode and fired off a quick burst of 5 frames hoping one of them would capture a good expression.
In Photoshop CS4 I softened her face and did color adjustments. I left the image uncropped because...I dunno, I like the dark space on the left! Do you think I should crop it tighter? Also, do you think I went overboard on the PP? ![]() Captured with a Canon S5 IS. Exposure: 1/640 Aperture: f/3.5 Focal length: 52.8mm ISO: 400

I do think it could be cropped a little tighter. The dark area doesn't really add anything to the mood of the photo. Her face does seem to be a little too bright along with her hand. It is a nice candid shot though! Thanks for sharing.
