If not for your caption, I would have had no idea this portrait was supposed to be of the little girl. There is WAY too much going on for me. Sorry.

same here. I would crop to focus on the girl.. but it's just too much cropping.

Perhaps a little fill flash too as it is way to dark. I agree if it wasn;t for the caption I would not have known which girl to look for.

Agreed with the previous posters. To me, the subject of the photo is the guy in the red shirt behind the counter - he's lit the best, and generally the eye goes straight to the brightest part of a photo first.
