Default Is this over exposed?

IMG_8572

I shot this in RAW with my Rebel XTI, 50mm, f2.5, shutter 1/100, ISO 200 in a make shift "studio." The only PP I did was play with the contrast and definition a little to get more freckles to show up.

I feel that his nose may be blown out a little an thus the photo a little over exposed, but if I adjust the exposure at all the whole image looks too dark. Is the photo over exposed that I need to adjust the exposure or have I just been staring at it for too long?

Any and all honest critiques are appreciated!

No, definitely not overexposed; if anything, a tad underexposed. There's a tiny blown out spot on his nose, but I don't see it as a problem at all. What did you use for lighting?

The color does seem off, though - he's got a yellow/green/cyan tint to him. Do you have a SOOC you can post?

No, definitely not overexposed. I do feel, however, that you took him a little too far to the edge of the frame. Is this the full shot, or did you crop? If you did crop, maybe recrop so he has a little breathing room next to his ear.

I co-sign this.

Thanks for the comments. I appreciate them. I unfortunately did not crop the photo so adding some breathing room to the left side could take some PP work.
